World ORS Week 2026

The Child Health Nursing Department of Amala College of Nursing, along with 6th Semester BSc Nursing students, conducted an awareness program on Friday, 31st July 2026 at 10:00 AM at Pediatric OPD as part of World ORS Week 2026: July 25-31.
The event themed _”A Simple Solution for a Healthier Future”_ focused on promoting ORS use in every home. Activities included an awareness and demonstration session on preparing homemade ORS for parents and caregivers to prevent dehydration due to diarrhea, and a role play emphasizing “ORS for Today, Health for Tomorrow.” The program aimed to educate the community on safe and effective hydration solutions.
