The scope of nursing practice encompasses promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative care across the entire human lifespan. Built upon the application of basic concepts from physical, biological, behavioral sciences, medicine, and nursing, practice is grounded in deep values of caring and empowering individuals toward self-care independence.
